We are currently hiring a Shipper / Receiver - Skilled Laborer - for our Langley, British Columbia yard to assist with fast-paced and challenging projects.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment.
- Remove rubble and other debris in the yard using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other equipment.
- Direct traffic at or near yard.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
- Communicate with supervisors, co-workers, and clients effectively.
- Shipping and receiving of materials.
- Perform other activities as directed.
Job Skills & Qualifications:
Required:
- Valid class 5 driver’s license is required.
- Valid zoom boom ticket is required.
- Experience as a construction worker, laborer, or other similar role.
- Ability to lift heavy construction materials.
- Ability to be a self-managed team player, able to deliver results with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to understand and apply verbal and written instructions.
- Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures.
- Good communication skills and a team player mentality.
- Must have an attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic.
Preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CSTS Ticket
- WHMIS Ticket
