We are currently recruiting a Site Administrative Assistant in Dawson Creek, BC to assist site management staff with fast-paced and challenging projects.

Role Overview

The Site Administrative Assistant provides clerical support to the site management staff including Project Managers and Superintendents, or other site personnel on the project. This position requires some experience in a technical environment with a background in computer applications and online document management.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Filing – electronic and hard copy. 
  • Maintain and print crew sign-in sheets.
  • Complete payroll entries for company and sub-trade workers.
  • Development and maintenance of technical lists such as phone/email lists or other project-related forms.
  • Writing letters and emails, developing, and maintaining data sheets.
  • Develop and maintain meetings and activities scheduled for project personnel.
  • Scan and copy documents.
  • Setting up meetings.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 1+ years of general administration experience primarily in the construction industry considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • A self-starter who can work independently.
  • Able to juggle many competing priorities.
  • A positive team player.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Fluent English preferred.
  • Valid license. Having a personal vehicle is an asset.
  •  Able to lift 35 lbs.
